- This datset is from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Census 2021 output and their Built up Urban Areas file (BUA) we then take this data and combine it with population data also from ONS
Following on from this a criteria based approach using settlement size is used to determine the status of a settlement.
This layer is an input for many other datasets including Place and Movement. - This dataset shows the Settlements along with their grouping
